Tapas Bar Espana in Kaiserslautern

First of all: We really enjoyed the food. The paella de marisco was very rich, with lots of seafood and the meat plate was generous and delicious. Really unbeatable at the prices! The host and waiters were also very nice. But the organization in the store is a disaster. We reserved a table and pre-ordered the paella to avoid a long wait. It still took almost two hours, which is really very uncomfortable with toddlers. My girlfriend had ordered tapas that should only come with the other main dishes. Nevertheless, she ate an hour earlier. Although only two other tables were occupied, beverage orders were forgotten. Unfortunately, ambience is not so nice and quite getting old and it smells of smoke.

Very inconspicuous restaurant, without much frills and great atmosphere. We were more than surprised! The paella for 2 people was more than rich and so delicious! We had to wait a relatively long time, but we were warned by the waitress, that was okay. The service was incredibly nice and warm, everything is very authentic. An elderly lady who understands her work is cooking in the kitchen. Price perfectly okay. We would like to come again!

Super Spanish home cooking at reasonable prices

We ordered seafood Paella but waited like almost two hours 😂 Half of the pot were filled with seafood mix (too much) and the portion was really really big for two. Well, next time I would order Paella with seafood and chicken and order ahead!!!!

Simple decor but very appealing as a typical Spanish restaurant. The food was very good, there is passion in the kitchen. I can recommend it to everyone.

We were here for the first time today. The food was really good. The prices are unbeatable. We will come back to the Paella dinner again. It looked very good from a distance :-)

Here is a very good paella and Spanish tapas served.

We were there to play darts for a few hours already was pleasant but unfortunately the toilets are a no go. Too small and it smells strongly after eating there. Darts were in a cellar vault which was very pleasant with the temperatures. But you have to realize that it is a bit moldy on the vault and there is a lot of junk behind the vending machine

The food is Spanish, but rather home cooking good. Dining table and seating are okay.

Absolute disaster! The restaurant was half filled and we waited beaten 2 hours until we got something to eat. Ordered were 4 tapas and a steak. Instead of everything, as you would expect, came at the same time, the time span between the tapas was over 2h! The steak of my girlfriend came only when the tapas had been eaten for a long time. Prices are fair, there is no ambience, food considered isolated was ok, but nothing special. Apart from the paella from the next table, no food was well presented, but distributed rather loveless on a plate, more so canteen style. All in all, never again !! Totally uncomfortable and agonizingly long evening, when one of the fun goes on eating out.

Have eaten paella, were very satisfied. Tasted very good. Prices are also OK. Restaurant was a bit old, but also not to look but to eat there. All in all we will be back.

Nice Spanish Tapas Bar. Food was tasty and service was good as well. The croquestas were not like in Spain, so if you like croquetas, order something else.

You have a great time, the coffee is excellent. The food very tasty. And very nice people.
